My great great grandparents were born in Doonfeeny, Co. Mayo just outside of Ballycastle. Charles Keane, name spelled Kane in America. Scranton,Pa was the area most of the Charles Keane family resided. My great grandfather Patrick Keane married Honora Nealon of the same area and her mother was Mary Nealon who seemed to be the person identified in Griffiths Valuation. I believe Mary Nealon's husband was Joseph Nealon. My grandfather was Patrick who resided in South Scranton. His two brothers Charles and James Keane remained in Doonfeeny and died in the 1940's
