my dads grandfather born in ballaghadereen, co mayo according to geneology sources. their parents were honoria mccann and pat raftery.children patrick (dads grandad)- went to salford,james - married a jane cuddy, had many kids, james - married a mary mcgarry and emigrated to south africa, bridget married a mr mcgreal and honoria married a mr mullins.there other children too. i believe the family may have moved to curraghard, co roscommon later on.
