I am looking for info on Simon Byrn, born (we think in Meath) in 1820. From what we have put together he most likely moved with hsi family in 1830 to Canada, then to the US in 1850. He married Bridget Ryan ( b 1822 Tipperary) stopped in Illinois for a bit before settling in Dubuque where they raised children James E, Thomas, Margaret, William Joseph, Esther and Mary. Simon moved to South Dakota after bridgets death about 1884 and died there about 1917. Any information is welcome.
