Looking for any information on Elizabeth Willis known as Margaret in later life. She was born circa 1818? in County Tyrone and emigrated to Australia c. 1841. She married William Edgar, a Scottish convict in Sydney in 1841 later settling in Orange. Her father was listed as John, a farmer, on her Death certificate.Thanks
Hi, I am also researching Willis family and just wondered if there is a connection. My great grandfather Willis is also John, a farmer of County Cavan. The only info I have is that he had a son Thomas Henry born 1856 who immigrated to Liverpool around 1880 and later came to NZ. Did he have a sister Margaret? I dont know.
