Wicklow (county)
I am searching for any information on my g,g,g grandfather Arcibald Lawless. According to info on his childrens marriage certs he was either a coastguard or customs and excise officer in Wicklow in mid - 1800's. Wife Maria and children Mary (Thompson), Christopher, James and Arcibald all seem to have left Ireland circa 1869. Maria was apparrently a widow by this time. I have periodically looked for the last four years for anything at all on him and can find nothing....it's like he never existed....so any help at all would be really appreciated. Many thanks Julie
