Looking for Loftus Family
I do not have your John Loftus, but my great-great-great grandparents were Thomas and Bridget Loftus. They had a daughter Bridget Loftus who married Joseph Dalton and they had many children who were christened in Ballyhaunis:
Eliza 1839
John Loftus 1840
Margaret 1842
Mary 1844
James 1845
Mary 1847
The family emigrated to America in the 1850's and moved to Wisconsin.
If you can see any connection, I'd love to share information.
