I am trying to my great great great great grandparents Thomas Cunniff ( b. abt 1812 ) and his wife Mary ( nee?Cooney or Ford ? b abt 1820) . Children were Maria ( b.abt 1836 ) , Elizabeth, Thomas and Patrick( all b. 1840's ) and they lived in Athlone but left for England, Lancashire in 1860 so anytime before that they lived in Athlone. Maria Cuniffe married Patrick White of Galway ( a tailor b. abt. 1825 ) in 1856 at St Peters Church, Athlone and had children Patric , Michael and Thomas born late 1850's.
I would like to find out if anyone has any information, particularly Mary's maiden name.
